Yes. If you're registered with the GMC and hold a UK medical degree such as MBBS or MBChB, you're eligible - whether you're a physician, surgeon, GP, or specialist. You can verify with your @nhs.net, @doctors.org.uk email, or GMC number in the application form when pressing Free Trial.
Free email isn’t really free - you’re paying with your privacy. As a paid service, we only serve you, our customer. This means we have no split loyalties, no mining of your personal data, and no ads, ever.
Yes, the free trial lasts 7 days. You can unsubscribe at any time after you have subscribed.
Yes! It is very simple and we will hold your hand through the process. We also give you personal customer support in case you have questions later on.
Yes — you’re welcome to apply. While access is limited to verified doctors, we’re happy to reserve your preferred email address until you graduate, free of charge. This ensures no one else can claim it in the meantime.

Yes — if you hold an MBBS, DO, MD, or an equivalent medical degree, you're welcome to apply. We accept verified medical doctors regardless of regional title differences.

Yes. MDinbox is compatible with all the major email clients such as iPhone, Android, Outlook, Thunderbird and MacOS.
You can choose between 8 GB, 25 GB, and 100 GB plans.
For reference, Gmail offers 15 GB.
We offer a range of pricing packages starting at $9.99/month.
We currently accept most major credit and debit cards, plus PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We are unable to accept cash, cheques, bank transfers, or money orders.

To clarify, HIPAA compliance refers to meeting strict U.S. regulations for handling Protected Health Information (PHI) in clinical and healthcare settings. However, MDinbox is not primarily designed for exchanging patient records or clinical data - it’s a privacy-focused personal email service for doctors.
Most hospitals and clinics already have secure, dedicated systems for PHI. MDinbox is for everything else - a clean, secure inbox that reflects your professional status but isn’t tied to your employer or full of patient messages.
We currently meet many of HIPAA’s technical privacy standards, but we haven’t yet completed a formal audit.
Yes, we welcome medical doctors from most countries.
They are located in the EU and comply with GDPR.
